Volkswagen Unveils the All-New T-Roc: A Game-Changing SUV for a New Era

SME News UK. Wolfsburg, Germany – Volkswagen has officially premiered the second generation of its best-selling compact SUV, the T-Roc, marking a significant step forward in design, innovation, and technology.

The all-new Volkswagen T-Roc 2025 has been completely redeveloped from the ground up, offering drivers a bold new design, advanced hybrid drive systems, and a premium interior that sets new standards in its class.

Dynamic Design and Lighting Innovation

The new T-Roc retains its distinctive coupé-like rear end but now features more powerful proportions thanks to an additional 12 cm in length compared with its predecessor. Standard LED headlights define its strong front profile, while optional IQ.LIGHT LED matrix headlights are linked by an illuminated Volkswagen logo and slim light bar. At the rear, a continuous LED strip with a red-illuminated VW emblem gives the SUV a modern identity.

Premium Interior and Technology Upgrades

Inside, the T-Roc boasts a redesigned cockpit, soft-touch materials, and a lounge-like atmosphere created by background ambient lighting. A new 33 cm infotainment display, optional head-up display, and advanced driving experience control borrowed from the Tiguan and Tayron elevate the driving experience.

For the first time, Volkswagen offers ergoActive seats with a 14-way adjustment and massage function in the Style version, while luggage space increases to 475 liters.

Advanced Assistance Systems

The SUV integrates Volkswagen’s MQB evo platform, enabling the latest in safety and convenience technologies. Highlights include:

  • Travel Assist with predictive lane changing and adaptive responses to speed limits
  • Park Assist Pro with memory parking and smartphone operation
  • Exit warning system to alert occupants of approaching vehicles or bicycles

Powertrains and Hybrid Technology

The new T-Roc will launch exclusively with 48V mild hybrid petrol engines, available in 1.5 eTSI with 116 PS and 150 PS outputs. Full hybrid powertrains will follow, alongside a high-performance T-Roc R variant. All models feature a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission.

Availability and Pricing

Pre-sales in Germany begin on August 27, with the official market launch scheduled for November 2025. Starting price: €30,845 for the 1.5 eTSI (115 PS). UK pricing and specifications will be announced soon.

A Proven Bestseller in Europe

In 2024 alone, 292,000 units were delivered across Europe, securing its place as a leading choice for drivers seeking versatility, innovation, and style.
