SME News UK. The Egyptian Darts Federation is set to host a high-profile press conference on December 2, 2025, at the Federation’s headquarters to officially unveil the largest international, continental, and regional gathering for the sport of darts in the Middle East and Africa.
The announcement comes just days before the launch of the Sharm El Sheikh International Darts Championships 2025, scheduled to take place from December 9 to 14 in the iconic Red Sea city.

This year’s mega event will welcome 23 countries and more than 180 male and female athletes, under the patronage of Egypt’s Ministry of Youth and Sports, marking one of the most significant milestones in the sport’s history across the region.

The press conference is expected to attract extensive media presence from Egypt, the Arab world, and international outlets, alongside senior officials from sports federations, individual-sports experts, and sponsoring partners.
During the event, the Federation will reveal full details of the four championship editions being hosted together for the first time, in addition to announcing new international cooperation protocols, daily event programs, and future development plans for the sport in Egypt and the region.

Dr. Yehia Abdelkader, President of the Egyptian, Arab, and African Darts Federations, emphasized that the championships represent “a new chapter in the evolution of darts across the region,” highlighting Egypt’s rising status as a global hub for the sport.
He also noted that Egypt’s recent selection as the official host of the Darts World Cup 2027 reflects the country’s expanding international footprint.
The upcoming press conference, he said, aims to strengthen communication with media institutions and showcase the scale of progress achieved by Egypt in developing the sport.
