Maserati MCPURA Showcases the Pure Essence of Italian Performance on the Roads of Versilia
SME News UK. Versilia, Italy
Maserati has once again redefined the essence of Italian performance and craftsmanship with the exclusive Driving Experience of the new Maserati MCPURA, held across the breathtaking landscapes of Versilia from 6 to 18 October 2025.
The event brought together enthusiasts, media representatives, and collectors to witness the pure energy and design mastery that have made the Trident one of the most iconic brands in automotive history.
A Journey Through Italian Elegance and Power
The Maserati MCPURA Driving Experience unfolded across some of Versilia’s most prestigious destinations — Forte dei Marmi, Pietrasanta, and the Carrara Marble Quarries, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Against this picturesque backdrop, the MCPURA revealed its true DNA: a seamless blend of Italian elegance, engineering precision, and raw performance. Powered by the 630-hp Nettuno V6 engine, the supercar delivers a class-leading weight-to-power ratio of 2.33 kg/hp, thanks to its lightweight carbon fiber monocoque construction weighing under 1,500 kg.
The Evolution of the Maserati MC Line
As the natural evolution of the iconic MC20, the new MCPURA represents the pinnacle of Maserati’s innovation. Available in coupé and convertible (Cielo) versions, it features the brand’s signature “Butterfly” doors and, in the Cielo variant, a retractable electrochromic glass roof.
The MCPURA combines rigidity with lightness, translating into unmatched handling, acceleration, and driving precision. Its bold design language and distinctive sound embody the purest interpretation of the Trident’s legacy.
Fuoriserie Program: Bespoke Italian Craftsmanship
Maserati also used the event to introduce participants to the world of Fuoriserie, the brand’s ultra-personalization program. This initiative allows clients to create truly bespoke vehicles with over 30 color options, including solid, metallic, tri-coat, quad-coat, and matte finishes.
New exclusive shades such as AI Aqua Rainbow, Devil Orange, and Night Interaction highlight Maserati’s artistic approach to color and its ability to merge heritage with modern creativity.
Leadership Vision and Heritage
Santo Ficili, Maserati’s Chief Operating Officer, emphasized the brand’s deep connection with Modena — the birthplace of its legendary craftsmanship.
“With this Driving Experience, we wanted our guests to live the Maserati spirit — a harmony of energy, elegance, and passion that defines each creation. MCPURA represents the perfect balance between engineering precision and artisanal excellence,” Ficili stated.
A Future Driven by Innovation
Today, Maserati’s lineup includes the Grecale SUV, the GranTurismo, and the GranCabrio, each embodying the brand’s luxury DNA with both hybrid and fully electric powertrains. The new GranTurismo Folgore and Grecale Folgore mark Maserati’s bold entry into the electric performance segment.
The MCPURA and MCPURA Cielo sit at the top of the Maserati range, powered by the 100% Maserati-designed Nettuno V6 engine, a technology derived directly from Formula 1. Alongside them stands the Maserati GT2 Stradaleand the exclusive MCXtrema, a track-only masterpiece limited to just 62 units.
